HUMBERTO RUBIO, JR. – Attorney

Humberto Rubio, Jr. is a Managing Director at Rubio & Associates in Miami, Florida. His practice focuses on community association law, real estate, litigation, corporate matters, and intellectual property-related disputes.
Mr. Rubio earned his J.D. from St. Thomas University School of Law, where he was named to the Dean’s List and participated in international legal studies at Pontificia Universidad Javeriana in Bogotá, Colombia. He graduated cum laude from Florida International University with degrees in Political Science and Economics.
He is admitted to practice in Florida and before the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida.
Mr. Rubio represents clients in commercial disputes, intellectual property enforcement matters, and proceedings before the U.S. Trademark Trial and Appeal Board (TTAB). His prior experience with international intellectual property and business matters in Bogotá, Colombia, also informs his work on matters involving cross-border issues.
Mr. Rubio also advises condominium and homeowners’ associations in Florida. His work includes governance matters, assessment collections, vendor contract review and negotiation, construction-related disputes, and compliance with Florida statutes and regulations applicable to community associations.
In addition, Mr. Rubio leads the firm’s real estate practice, assisting clients with residential and commercial closings, title matters, leasing, and transactional due diligence. He represents buyers, sellers, investors, and other parties involved in real estate transactions, and works with developers, lenders, and real estate professionals to address closing, title, and related transactional issues.
FELIPE RUBIO – Attorney

Felipe Rubio is a Managing Director of Rubio & Associates, based in Miami, Florida. His practice focuses on intellectual property, business, and entertainment law, with experience representing clients in litigation, trademark matters, licensing, and commercial disputes.
Mr. Rubio earned his J.D. from St. Thomas University School of Law and holds degrees in Business Administration and International Business from Florida International University. His practice includes matters before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office’s Trademark Trial and Appeal Board (TTAB), as well as disputes in state and federal courts.
Mr. Rubio is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.
In his litigation practice, Mr. Rubio represents clients in trademark and copyright infringement matters, business disputes, and related commercial claims. He also handles trademark oppositions, cancellations, and enforcement matters before the TTAB.
In addition to litigation, Mr. Rubio advises clients on trademark prosecution, licensing, brand protection, and intellectual property strategy. His work also includes entertainment-related matters, where he assists artists, producers, labels, and other industry participants with contract negotiation, rights management, publishing issues, and intellectual property protection.
